Framework
Framework is a 5×12 ortholinear keyboard using through-hole components and features a rotary encoder. It runs on QMK firmware and is completely customizable + programmable.

Important note
This kit requires soldering a fine pitch through-hole USB C connector. It can be challenging if you don’t have a lot of soldering experience. I will provide guidance and support for this kit, but I cannot warranty it or make guarantees.

- Pre-flashed microcontroller with USB bootloader + VIA compatible keymap
Optional kit add-ons
- Silicone plate damper (0.5 mm or 1.0 mm)

What you’ll need to assemble the kit
- Soldering iron
- Solder flux
- Solder
- Wire cutters
- Tape (to hold the components to the board while you solder)
- Pliers (to remove panelization tabs)
- Sandpaper or a nail file (to sand down panelization mouse bites)
- 1.3 mm hex key
- 4 mm nut driver or wrench
What you’ll need to complete the keyboard
- Key switches (MX footprint)
- Key caps
- Rotary encoder knob (if you didn’t order one from me)
